The Carnival
Yesterday we went with other Erasmus Students to Rethymno to watch the Carnival Parade, what is a custom on Creta Land.
The Parade took off at 2 p.m. and we were able to see what people can only imagine: Pigs, Rabbits, Dragons, Bed Wear.
It was wounderful! The music all over, people dancing, shouting, playing on the wistle. Young, old, medium, children in strollers.
Everybody was dressed in a costume.
See yourself:

 And the winner is: Bee:)

Last night we spent 1,5h searching for the mosquito buzzing next to my ear when I tried to fall asleep.
Those mosquitos aren't supposed to be alive on February!!! In February the mosquitos must sleep and and rest and wait for the spring! Oh, I forgot it is like spring in here. So...
Well, this mosquito was not stupid, not stupid as those, we have met here so far. I ususally was taking my second right finger, and I was pressing the mosquito to the surface on which, it happened, the mosquito sat.
But this, very clever, Mr Clever Mosquito, was being hunted by us for 1,5 hours!! Finally we thought, that we killed him. But... a very unfair bite woke me up at around 3.44am. It was Mr Clever Mosquito. He was not buzzing more. He was happy after feeding with my blood. I had to sleep all the rest of the night coverd, very tightly, with the blanket. If a small peace of my nose wasn't covered, I heard the buzzing of Mr Clever's wings.

And this is why I didn't go to school today.
All of this story is true.
:)

There's this beautiful sentence, written by Jan Twardowski: "We should hurry up to love people, becuse they leave so early...' And this is what I feel, when I hear that all this famous and wounderful people are already gone.

Another custom.
Today a shop-assistant told us that if you are payin and you hace a lot of change - a lot of coins it is normal for Greeks that they ask you if you have robbed a church.

And... in every room they have a shelf with the Bible. Even in the delivery room, where pregnant women deliver babies. Hmmm...

This weekend welcomed us with the temperature around 19 degrees.
-Hello Greece! - I said once again.

Strange custom in here...
I would like to share with you the strange custom, which I spotted, is taking place in here. It's about the buses. Here are the bus stops, but there is no timetable at all. Every bus and every bus driver is changing the number of the bus after he finishes the one round. So, if you are waiting at the end of the bus round, you are looking at the bus which number is e.g. 1. And then, when the bus driver is starting the engine, the number of the bus suddenly changes into 6. <wtf> you think :D But, unfortunately it's not all of its strangeness. You have to buy a ticket in the ticket machine just next to the stop. If you are lucky and you actually have bought the ticket you now can enter the bus. But... it's normal for this place that the bus driver tears the ticket... So, all customers are being checked by the bus driver, if they have a valid ticket. But... suddenly the bus stops, and a man enters and is checking if you have valid ticket... What for? Well, I was thinking a lot about that but surely I have no idea...
Maybe you have? I am waiting fos some ideas?

Maybe the problem is not in the public transport in here, but in my Polish mind, which makes me think of the lack of necessity in this custom.

And... I have one idea... Maybe the bus driver is checking the customers. And maybe the inspector is checking the bus driver... Maybe...
